The National Survey of Research and Development (R&D) aims to find out the status, trends and statistics of the national R&D for a financial year. National Survey of R&D has been implemented by MASTIC since 1994 (for the financial year 1992). Fifteen National Survey of R&D have been published to meet demand by internal and external stakeholders of MASTIC. The latest study conducted by MASTIC in 2021, covering data for financial year 2020. The findings of this study will be used to measure the performance of national R&D activities against the targets set by the Government such as National Science, Technology and Innovation Policy 2021-2030 and also for international benchmarking.
