Global finfish aquaculture production survey and forecast

Survey results suggest that the global production of the key representative finfish species/groups, including carps, tilapias, pangasius and catfishes, salmonids, sea bass, and sea bream, is projected to reach approximately 39.6 million metric tons (MMT) in 2023. This reflects a modest increase of about 1.8% from the 2022 figure of 38.9 MMT.
